I built a security framework aligned with FedRAMP Moderate requirements, implementing centralized SIEM monitoring that reduced manual remediation by 30%. I supported a cloud transformation serving 3,000+ users, cutting infrastructure delivery time from four weeks to two. I also established multi-region disaster recovery that improved recovery time objectives from 12 hours to 6 for critical mission systems.

I built a genomics analysis platform on AWS handling over 100TB of research data, implementing BWA/GATK pipelines for DNA sequence processing. I designed the infrastructure to be HIPAA-compliant with role-based access controls and federated authentication for protected health information. Through optimized job scheduling and Spot instance usage, I cut processing time from 21 days to 8 and reduced monthly compute costs by $8K. I also standardized clinical data collection using REDCap, improving data completeness rates from 80% to 95%.
